A very outspoken colleague of mine commented that i'm friendly, unlike her. at first i thought she was being sarcastic as I would say the very same thing back at her cos she's so bubbly and loud. It turned out that she was sincere. Strange how other people see me differently that what i am.

Just got back from dinner with pt and had an awful garlic chicken pasta which was so garlicky and creamy that i just couldn't bring myself to finish it. the garlic was so strong that i could kill a horde of vampires just by blowing a kiss. PT the imp, commented that since im not getting kissed tonight, I could have all the garlic i wanted.
Happy V day all.......

Hamish and Andy are baaack and its great to hear them every morning on my way to work! They certainly manage to perk me up while I was grungingly commuting to work.

Saw a girl surfing adultfanfiction on the bus during peak period. OMG!! She's reading porn in public!!!!

Pathetically counting down the days before I go for my next weekend break.

My horoscope for today:
Secret enemies may be holding a grudge that you're not even aware of.
Maybe its the girl in the bus cos i was trying to read over her shoulder? hehehehe

Watched The Valley of Elah with Sha on Friday. No idea why but this has been bugging me since.... Why would anyone save a contact number of a strip club on your handphone? To make reservations? To chk which girl performing that night?
-------------------------

Its the time of the year I write my new year's intentions (again). I prefer to use the term 'intentions' as life is more flexible and unpredictable than the term 'resolutions' would imply.
1) stop biting fingernails (this has been appearing in my ny's list since 1988!)
2) be healthier: stop eating so much junk and please exercise.
3) stay focus and positive. don't let anybody pull you down.
4) be punctual for work
5) learn basic french
6) write daily .... write down ANYTHING!
7) read at least one book a week.
------------------------------

finally bought these two books which i've been contemplating to get for months.

1) U2 by U2

2) Postsecret

----------------------------

A colleague just came back from Melbourne bought me Thank God You're Here series 2 & 3. I was so addicted that I watched till 3am for the past few nights to finish them!

My horoscope for 11/12/07
GEMINI
(May 22-June 21)
You will not be able to contain your emotions today.
Get the whole family involved in a worthwhile cause
or cultural event. Educational pursuits should help
you develop your hobbies.
45 more minutes b4 12/12 and i doubt any of the above will happen as im sure none of the above happened at all this whole day!! who writes the horoscope anyway? a fiction writer? could it be that my horoscope is wrong cos the "actual" writer is on strike? hahahaha

Comes to my attention that not all can stand anything with durian, ie: durian cake.

Case scenario:Nate eating Spike "D" with gusto

Yatie eating her BigO Cheesecake, through a funnel, avoiding the durian fumes from invading her breathing space

That girl is simply a drama mama!

Pheeeeww! The past ten days was more than a handful for me. Barely had time to breath. Glad its over and the only thing that helps me pass the bad times was knowing that Linkin Park concert is abt 50 hours away! Yay!

My new addiction: Hamish & Andy podcasts
Disadvantage to owning an ipod, it doesn't have a fm feature, so the next best thing is PODCASTS! I spend my time commuting to/fro work trying to swallow laughs cos those guys are ridiculously hilarious.

- encountered someone and you wish that he/she is your buddy? Last Saturday at work, I had a customer who was so chirpy and we talked as if we knew each other for ages. Her name is Vaani and she's based in Sydney. Even though we talked for abt half an hour, I knew more of her than the people I've worked with for 2 years! Before she left, she told me to give her a call if I ever wanna chat. Knowing that I'll never contact the people I met through work, I trully felt sad that that will be the last I'll see of her.

- re-read a book which you have put aside for years and realised that its so much different? Was looking for a childrens book for my nephew at my book case whilst I stumbled upon Alfian Saat's A History of Amnesia. I was reading a few pages and realised that what I thought was what I read years ago was not what I'm reading now. Maybe its due to maturity or the vast reading I've done since, Alfian's poetry is so much more darker and better than I remembered.

- seen someone you fancy but unfortunately, he's wearing a wedding ring? As consolation prize, I'll just see him from afar to fulfill my eye candy of the day.

- lied to people that you're attached when you're not (or vice-versa)? I've the habit of saying that I'm married with two kids to my customers, knowing that if I were to tell the truth, they'll look at me with pity and shame. I would be able to read their mind thinking that I'm too 'choosy" or have 'high standards'. Its easier to act as if I'm 'normal' than being myself.

- been insulted straight in the face but you pretended it didn't matter and just laugh it off, while your heart feels like its been squeezed through a straw?
